Building a Curated Wellness Environment in Calgary’s West District
Located in the heart of Calgary’s vibrant West District, PULSE redefines the modern workout experience. BUILD IT was selected as the commercial general contractor to bring this highly anticipated luxury boutique fitness studio to life.

The project required a deep understanding of the client’s brand: bridging the gap between high-intensity physical movement and high-end, intentional architectural design. The resulting space is a premium wellness sanctuary designed to help members leave the outside world behind the moment they step through the doors.

The PULSE Concept: High-Intensity Movement Meets High-End Design
PULSE is built on a foundation of immersive fitness, operating across three distinct class pillars that dictate the flow and function of the space:

RIDE: A rhythm-based spin experience that connects movement, music, and mindfulness.

LIFT: A dedicated strength training environment segmented into heavy lifting (Max) and high-energy conditioning (Hype).

COR: A space designed for high-intensity, low-impact muscular endurance and core synchronization.

To accommodate these dynamic programs, BUILD IT constructed a facility that seamlessly transitions from a tranquil, aesthetically driven reception lounge into gritty, high-performance workout environments.
