BUILD IT was a proud partner in the revitalization of Waterworks Food Hall, a landmark project in downtown Toronto’s vibrant King West neighbourhood. We were tasked with a full interior fit-out of the historic 1932 Art Deco building, transforming the former municipal machine shop into a bustling culinary destination.

Our team meticulously worked to honour the building’s heritage, preserving original features like the soaring ceilings and steel beams, while seamlessly integrating all-new, modern systems. We executed the complex installation of over 20 unique vendor kiosks, ensuring each space was built to the specific needs of the hand-selected culinary artisans. From the custom lighting and millwork to the final interior finishes, every detail was precisely managed to create a beautiful, European-inspired food hall.
