Bombay Street Food specializes in bringing you the cuisine and flavors of traditional Indian comfort food. Mumbai (also known as “Bombay”) is a culinary delight for any traveler.
As there are myriad of cuisines in India, similarly Mumbai has a delightful variety of food. Some of the recipes have originated in Mumbai itself like pav bhaji, vada pav, ragda pattice, bhel puri, sev puri, various veg pakoras, mumbai toast sandwich, omlette pav, and bhurji pav.
In 2014, sisters-in-law Seema & Amreen Omar founded Bombay Street Food, bringing to Toronto some of the amazing variety of traditional street foods found in Bombay (Mumbai). Not only are all their dishes, from the chutney to masala blends, homemade and authentically spiced, but they also use primarily local ingredients and halal meat from Cargill Farms and Sargeant Farms.
Bombay Street Food was created in collaboration with some of the most passionate people we have ever worked with, the need for a dedicated design build team to maintain the quality and consistency of the brand was key to achieving sister’s-in-law Seema & Amreen’s goals.
We worked closely, step-by-step with Seema & Amreen to turn their dream into reality.
“From the very beginning, Simon and Alburt were attentive and diligent about our project. When construction started, the whole Build It team continued to impress on every level: their work was impeccable, they were punctual and friendly, open to addressing our questions and concerns, and extremely organized. Our project was executed brilliantly.”
